About the position

The Senior GCP Data Engineer for Reporting & Analytics at CVS Health is responsible for developing and managing data structures and pipelines that support comprehensive reporting and analytics for care management products. This role involves collaboration with various teams to create impactful metrics and dashboards, ultimately enhancing the decision-making process within the organization. The position is remote but requires alignment with an eastern time zone work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build detail & summarized data structures within reporting & analytics data layer to support development of complex and comprehensive dashboards & reports
• Work independently and collaboratively with data engineers, data scientists, data visualization team, and subject matter experts to design backend database objects
• Develop data pipelines from multiple platforms

Requirements

• 3+ years overall as a Google Cloud Data Engineer
• 3+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics
• Experience in data modeling to transform and prepare data for reporting & analytics

Nice-to-haves

• At least 5 years of Google Cloud Data Engineering experience in health care - Care Management, PBM, Claims
• 5+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics
• Experience with Tableau is a plus
• Prior experience in data warehouse & analytics area is highly desirable
• Prior experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior team members is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and data privacy concerns is highly desirable
