About the position

The Data Engineer position at CVS Health focuses on client reporting and internal program analytics for care management products. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop metrics, data structures, and pipelines that support comprehensive reporting and analytics. Responsibilities

• Build detail & summarized data structures within reporting & analytics data layer to support development of complex and comprehensive dashboards & reports
• Work independently and collaboratively with data engineers, data scientists, data visualization team, and subject matter experts to design backend database objects
• Develop data pipelines from multiple platforms

Requirements

• 3+ years overall as a Google Cloud Data Engineer
• 3+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics
• Experience in data modeling to transform and prepare data for reporting & analytics

Nice-to-haves

• At least 5 years of Google Cloud Data Engineering experience in health care - Care Management, PBM, Claims
• 5+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics
• Experience with Tableau is a plus
• Prior experience in data warehouse & analytics area is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
