About the position

The Senior GDC Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at NTT DATA. This position involves collaborating with key operational stakeholders across various regions, driving financial forecasting and budgeting processes, and enhancing reporting systems. The analyst will engage with senior management and contribute to strategic financial decisions, ensuring effective communication of financial insights and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a financial business partner for key operational stakeholders across APAC, India, EMEA, and US regions.
  • Drive the rolling forecast, annual budgeting, and long-term forecasting analytics activities for a targeted segment.
  • Lead efforts to capture forecasting assumptions and produce financial projections including headcount and operational costs.
  • Support system enhancements and testing in financial planning platforms such as Hyperion and SAP.
  • Develop reporting enhancements within various reporting platforms like Power BI and Hyperion.
  • Collect actual cost information across different regions of the global organization.
  • Prepare monthly actual vs. budget reports and produce variance analyses for assigned departments.
  • Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics for targeted departments.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improving business results.
  • Update and roll-forward tools and templates that support capital planning processes.
  • Develop business partner relationships with assigned operational leaders.
  • Participate in user testing to deploy system enhancements across key financial planning platforms.
  • Prepare visual financial analysis presentations for upper management.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS.
  • Ability to work across different cultures and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling and report development.
  • Experience managing budget-related requirements within formal planning platforms like Hyperion and SAP.
  • Proficient in using reporting output tools such as Power BI.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage stress and adapt to changing priorities.
