About the position

The Senior GenAI Engineer at Clover will lead the development of AI-powered solutions in healthcare, utilizing advanced generative AI technologies to create scalable services. This role involves architecting and implementing AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly into healthcare applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement robust, AI-driven solutions that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into healthcare applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business needs into innovative technical solutions.
  • Optimize AI features for customer-facing and internal applications, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
  • Lead complex projects independently, driving innovation in healthcare AI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on AI and machine learning.
  • Mastery of Python or Go, and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred).
  • Proven track record of integrating and working with state-of-the-art LLMs (GPT-3, GPT-4, BERT) in production environments.
  • Strong foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications.
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
  • Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Expertise in vector databases and familiarity with PostgreSQL.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of healthcare data and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
