About the position

The Senior GenAI Product Analyst at AIG will play a pivotal role in the newly formed Generative AI team, focusing on developing innovative AI solutions that enhance the company's ability to manage risk and serve customers effectively. This position is integral to AIG's vision of leveraging generative AI to address complex business challenges, requiring collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and a strong emphasis on product management principles.

Responsibilities

• Advocating for customer needs in defining innovative digital solutions and product vision that drive business value.
• Conducting research to identify user personas, pain points, and journeys, and analyzing this information to inform product development.
• Driving prioritization of product features for future releases based on commercial, user, and strategic priorities.
• Maintaining supporting documentation such as feature lists, user stories, and roadmaps.
• Providing insights and driving quantitative and qualitative analysis on emerging trends in technology, products, markets, and competitors to inform product direction and roadmap.
• Acting as a champion for the MVP approach, focusing on creating feasible, viable, and desirable solutions.
• Effectively balancing multiple priorities including business value, stakeholder impact, speed to market, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to scope, design, test, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Leading the development of business cases, operating plans, and proposals for new initiatives.
• Communicating and monitoring progress including regular KPI reporting.

Requirements

• Experience launching data-driven digital products or feature releases and articulating product vision and alignment with strategic goals.
• Track record conducting field/user research to validate user goals, frictions, and behaviors.
• Experience using data to inform feature prioritization in line with user needs, commercial, and strategic priorities.
• Experience analyzing market and industry trends and conducting competitor analysis to inform product direction.
• Experience with appropriate analytics tools and methods required for analysis.
• Experience supporting or leading sprint planning, developing epics and user stories, and managing product backlog.
• Collaborative experience working with cross-functional product teams.
• Experience with agile at scale development methodologies.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment through excellent time management skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong capacity for independent initiative and creative problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey thought leadership and influence senior executives.
