DataFielder Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Generative AI Python Developer to join a dynamic team in York, NY. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone passionate about pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly in the Generative AI domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Python development and a proven track record in the Generative AI space, including experience with Chat GPT, LLAMA, and other AI service providers. The position is hybrid, requiring two days in-office per week, and is a long-term contract role. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced Python-based applications in the Generative AI domain, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. You will implement and optimize Generative AI models, including LLAMA, to create innovative AI solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to integrate AI functionalities into broader systems and applications. Additionally, you will work with AWS GPU EC2 machines, managing GPU memory effectively to maximize performance and efficiency. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in Generative AI, Python development practices, and AWS services will be crucial to continually enhance our AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced Python-based applications in the Generative AI domain, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement and optimize Generative AI models, including LLAMA, to create innovative AI solutions.

• Work with AWS GPU EC2 machines, managing GPU memory effectively to maximize performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Python development, with a focus on Generative AI applications.
• Strong background in coding for the Generative AI domain, with hands-on experience with Chat GPT, LLAMA, and other AI service providers.
• Proficient in working with AWS GPU EC2 machines and a solid understanding of GPU memory management.
• Familiarity with various Generative AI models, including but not limited to LLAMA, OpenAI, Google Bard, and Mistral.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a commitment to being on-site 2 days per week.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with API development in Python, including Streamlit or Fast API.
• Knowledge of Chroma Vector DB or other Vector databases.
• Versatility in AWS services, including API Gateway, S3 Bucket, and EC2.
