About the position

The Senior GEOINT Project Manager at Markon is responsible for leading technical project management efforts within the GEOINT domain, focusing on client interactions and supporting mission strategy development. This role emphasizes collaboration with various acquisition offices and the integration of new systems to meet customer requirements, while fostering an environment of innovation and excellence in project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Daily interaction with the customer and supporting contractors, following customer standards and processes as the program matures through the life cycle.
  • Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) to support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and recommendation briefings.
  • Integrate new systems and initiatives in support of customer/mission partner requirements, working directly with developers and users in operations.
  • Utilize Agile processes for the delivery of new capabilities.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and related concepts in project execution.
  • Model GEOINT/SIGINT/Multi-INT Systems and develop architecture diagrams.
  • Translate complex technical findings into narratives in graphical, verbal, or written form.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Monitor system and segment schedules, recognizing dependencies.
  • Facilitate meetings and information sessions.

Requirements

  • Technical degree with 10 to 12 years of experience with a BS/BA, 8 to 10 years with an MS/MA, or 5 to 7 years with a PhD.
  • Possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Required to sign and adhere to Non-Disclosure Agreement(s) and Confidential Agreement and Conflict of Interest Certification.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Experience developing technical modeling diagrams.
  • Experience/Certifications with architecture modeling software.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to concisely brief project status to senior leadership.
