About the position

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior GIS Developer/Analyst to leverage advanced technologies in driving transformation within mission-critical services. This hybrid role, based in Laurel, Maryland, requires a motivated technology professional with a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and utility applications. The position involves leading the development of GIS solutions, managing complex initiatives, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Participate in major technology assignments and evaluate performance results.
• Recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• Write complex programs and develop user interfaces, menus, and macro-level scripts to meet user requirements.
• Perform complex spatial analyses and produce outputs according to customer specifications.
• Lead the development of geographic information systems, including WSSC water/sewer geometric networks and related features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a senior role with technical expertise in the ITGIS field.
• Expert knowledge and experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders or businesses.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in test-driven development.
• Proficiency in ESRI suite of tools and services, Javascript, SQL, Oracle or SQL databases, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and MS Office products.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with utilities applications.
• Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments.
