The Senior Global Supply Chain Planning Manager will play a critical role in managing the long-term planning and execution of manufacturing and packaging of finished goods on a global scale. This position is essential for ensuring product availability for patients by utilizing both internal and external finished goods suppliers. The role requires a strategic approach to develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned products and franchises, ensuring that all supply chain activities align with the company's goals and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships across various functions, including Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Clinical teams, to ensure seamless operations and product availability without stockouts. In this role, the manager will oversee the midterm to long-term network MPS, monitoring demand forecasts, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that changes are aligned with network supply plans. The position also involves supply chain modeling to support the budgeting process, defining sourcing strategies, and proposing safety stock levels throughout the drug product supply chain. The manager will work closely with the API supply chain to ensure that long-range purchase plans support the master production plan and will be responsible for mapping market and product demand to SKUs and distribution centers. The Senior Global Supply Chain Planning Manager will lead and support monthly Supply and Management meetings, present network MPS, and ensure that annual stability plans are met. This role requires a proactive approach to managing changes and assessing their impact on the supply chain to prevent interruptions in patient supply. Additionally, the manager will assist with the development and integration of new technologies and processes to support continuous improvement in planning performance. The position demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges in the supply chain.
