About the position

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Global Supply Manager to lead the procurement of indirect goods and services utilized across all Form factories and facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company can scale its operations effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and developing sourcing strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the factory ramp-up by developing and executing global sourcing strategies for various categories, including facilities maintenance and repair services, test equipment, engineering and consulting services, and construction procurements. You will work closely with the facilities and engineering teams to ensure that procurement plans are communicated effectively to the executive team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a fast-moving company that is at the forefront of energy technology, particularly in the production of iron-air batteries. As part of your responsibilities, you will develop clear strategies and roadmaps for the supply and scaling of indirect materials and services across Form Energy's locations. Building relationships with a robust pool of suppliers, particularly those that are diverse and local, will be essential. You will also be tasked with delivering favorable terms that optimize total cost of ownership, lead time, and risk management by overseeing the entire procurement process from supplier identification through to pricing and contract negotiation. Additionally, you will develop should-cost targets and benchmarks for all indirect spend categories, ensuring that the company maintains a competitive edge in its procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement of indirect goods and services for all Form factories and facilities.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for categories such as facilities maintenance, test equipment, engineering, and construction.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Communicate procurement plans and performance to the executive team.
• Build and maintain technical knowledge of Form's manufacturing processes and supply base for relevant service and material suppliers.
• Develop should-cost targets and benchmarks for all indirect spend categories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate proposals and develop recommendations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing and negotiations.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make quick decisions with 80% information.
