About the position

The Senior Golang Developer at Infosys will play a crucial role in developing, integrating, deploying, and maintaining backend systems and applications primarily using Golang. Responsibilities

• Develop, create, integrate, deploy, and maintain backend systems and applications using Golang.
• Respond swiftly to service requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Guide users through problem-solving steps and install/configure software.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of support activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Golang and related frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with Docker and Jenkins.
• Experience in Agile work environments.
• Proficient in Golang fundamentals, including data structures like Maps, Slices, and generics.
• Experience with REST API development and distributed systems concepts.
• Understanding of OOP concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
