About the position

The Senior Golang Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing customer-focused web and mobile experience platforms. This role emphasizes solution-based engineering and iterative software development practices, contributing to a long-term hybrid project in the 76262, TX area. The developer will engage in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, while collaborating with various teams to modernize technology solutions and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build systems to modernize Mainframe capabilities supporting large scale digital presence.
• Craft and develop reusable Java applications focusing on customer experience needs.
• Optimize quality and deployment practices in software development.
• Collaborate closely with business, operations, and systems partners to enable new business capabilities.
• Respond to regulatory changes and address complex customer needs.
• Contribute to the entire development lifecycle as a member of an agile, multi-functional team.
• Share technical knowledge to strengthen the engineering community and pursue personal learning of new technologies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong skills with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with AWS Toolsets including SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, Cloudformation.
• Experience with Golang programming for building efficient, scalable applications.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and documenting customer-facing RESTful APIs.
• Ability to read high-level business requirements and ask clarifying questions.
• Self-paced continuous learning to upskill with collaboration from engineering leaders.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Strong skills with the full lifecycle of development from analysis to production.
