About the position
The Senior Golang Software Engineer position at Centripetal focuses on developing innovative cybersecurity solutions that leverage analytics and data to combat cyber threats. This role is integral to the Intelligence Services group, where creativity and engineering excellence are paramount. The engineer will work on distributed software systems, contributing to the development of cloud-native cybersecurity products that enhance security operations for enterprise networks.
Responsibilities
- Develop distributed software systems that analyze cyber threat data.
- Build cloud-native cybersecurity products that utilize intelligence and data effectively.
- Deliver documented, maintainable, secure, and testable code.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly in a remote team environment.
- Take projects from concept to scale and production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience in back-end software development using Go.
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with data-driven analytical systems, machine learning, and big data.
- Familiarity with batch and streaming technologies.
- Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages.
- Experience with container and orchestration technologies.
- Knowledge of Graph, Document, and SQL databases.
- Experience with microservices, observability, and coordination.
- Deep familiarity with at least one major cloud provider.
