About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer at Amplified Digital will lead design efforts across various healthcare-related projects, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality visuals. This role involves client interaction, pitching ideas, and brainstorming new concepts while managing a junior designer and collaborating with the Marketing Director on strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with quick turnaround times.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire design process from concept to execution for all projects, including digital, print, and multimedia materials tailored to the healthcare industry.
  • Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates the organization's message and values.
  • Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, handling multiple rounds of revisions while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Work closely with the strategy team for feedback, progress, and status updates.
  • Exhibit a 'Can-do' attitude while working with the Marketing Director, marketing team, and clients to create cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Graphic Designer, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Stay current with design trends, particularly in healthcare, and incorporate best practices into your work.
  • Present mockups, renderings, and mood boards during the concepting phase, demonstrating the ability to think outside the box.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance final outputs.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as QR code creation, managing Trello board tickets, attending team meetings, preparing weekly agendas and notes, updating reports and client presentations, and creating social and event graphics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience, with healthcare and marketing experience being a plus.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
  • Proficiency in video and animation.
  • Experience in cartoon/caricature design.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare marketing principles and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor junior designers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design work, including video.

  • Experience with AI in design processes.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance in design.
