About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in the Enterprise In-House Creative team, focusing on creating impactful communications that turn consumers into brand advocates. This position involves collaboration with various teams to develop social and print campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and engagement with the GuardianWell experience. The designer will be responsible for driving creative concepts from inception to execution, with a strong emphasis on quality and detail.

Responsibilities

  • Listening, asking, prioritizing and translating key messages into creative concepts and designs.
  • Ensuring consistent and respectful communication to Guardian's various audiences, in keeping with overall brand standards.
  • Solving complex communication needs using the ability to organize and architect information into concept and visual solutions that stop the scroll and drive engagement.
  • Consultation with internal client partners on tactical and creative approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and portfolio or portfolio link required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a creative services position, preferably including prior employment with an advertising agency, corporate marketing organization, or digital agency.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency with Figma.
  • Proficiency in front end design/development.
  • Proficiency with animation and familiarity with video editing.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG AA-tier).
  • Working knowledge of outlook email client and template design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Webflow or similar no-code webpage building tool is a plus.
  • Demonstrated talent for high-caliber design and digital storytelling.
  • Proven ability to solve problems, architect information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix-oriented environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills: ability to foster collaboration, value other perspectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Webflow or similar no-code webpage building tool is a plus.
