To-date, Genies has been widely adopted by cultural tastemakers and has partnerships with Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group as their rosters' "official avatar." Genies has recently launched its consumer arm via its AR Developer Kit which allows developers to create interoperable avatar experiences for mobile and hardware AR. Their first avatar experience, Silver Studio, allows users to design and exchange digital fashion. Seated in our Los Angeles based headquarters, Genies is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic and creative team. Our ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a Sr. Graphic Designer, you will sit under the marketing department and work cross-functionally with the marketing, product, art, and partnership teams to bring our creative vision to life. You will help develop high-quality design work for websites, partnership decks, board presentations, marketing materials, social media assets, and promotional content. You are highly creative, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, always delivering polished, professional designs on tight deadlines. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing, product, art, and partnership teams to design visual assets for websites, presentations, social media, marketing materials, and more.
- Develop creative concepts for partnership decks and board presentations, ensuring all designs align with brand standards and business goals.
- Design marketing collateral, including social media graphics, email templates, digital ads, and flyers to support product launches, events, and campaigns.
- Assist in shaping the overall visual identity and direction of the Genies brand across all internal and external touchpoints.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, pop culture, and emerging technologies to inform and inspire creative approaches.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Provide creative input on visual elements for video production, motion graphics, and interactive content.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Sketch.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy principles.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments (marketing, product, etc.) and executives.
- Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives and execute designs that drive engagement and conversion.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Gen Z and Gen Alpha culture, fashion, and digital trends is a plus.
- Experience with web design is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing or a related field preferred.
