About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer at Green Thumb Industries will play a crucial role in creating innovative and strategic creative assets primarily for Equity projects. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders and external vendors. The designer will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency across various mediums and will contribute to the creative process while adhering to state guidelines and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create on-brand, on-brief design work across multiple mediums on a variety of projects.
• Create multiple design options that meet or exceed provided creative briefs; consult with fellow designers and brand managers for collaboration and feedback.
• Manage multiple projects and work with multiple disciplines simultaneously; strategically prioritize projects and delegate work to others while maintaining personal project load.
• Ensure brand consistency across multiple assets, working with multiple identities concurrently.
• Actively contribute to the creative process during team meetings by asking questions and creatively problem-solving.
• Organize and maintain digital files.
• Carry a design through the entire project process, making revisions or creating new versions as needed; prepare assets for Production based on guidelines.
• Follow and implement provided state guidelines and requirements on all materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Graphic Design; 7+ years preferred.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator.
• Beginner to Intermediate proficiency with After Effects or similar animation/vfx applications.
• Strong interest in packaging and typography.
• Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and executions; experience in consumer goods and retail preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with keen judgement and resourcefulness.
• High level of critical thinking and openness to constructive feedback.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and willingness to learn new workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and integrity, especially when dealing with confidential information.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing for consumer goods and retail.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
