About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in developing, producing, and delivering advanced graphic design products for a scientific lab client. This hybrid position requires collaboration with clients to create unique designs and layouts that meet specific needs, particularly in the scientific and technical fields. The designer will utilize advanced graphic software to execute assignments and ensure high-quality outputs that serve laboratory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, produce, and deliver advanced and unique graphic design products.
• Create designs, concepts, and layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Prepare materials for offset printing, digital reproduction, multimedia publishing, and electronic distribution.
• Create original artwork and execute graphic design assignments with nonstandard approaches to meet customer needs.
• Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selecting style and size of type.
• Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design.
• Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes.
• Use computer software to generate new images and customize templates to produce graphics work.
• Collaborate with customers to finalize graphics components such as layout, images, and content.

Requirements

• Ability to plan, develop, and execute graphic design and layout assignments.
• Advanced user of graphics software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
