About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer at AECOM will play a crucial role in the Design and Consulting Services Marketing Group, focusing on the Transportation proposal team. This position involves leading the design and development of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, ensuring cohesive messaging and visual identity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment and will be responsible for producing high-quality graphic solutions that support sales efforts and enhance client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic graphic design solutions for proposals, sales materials, and presentations.
• Maintain a collaborative and engaging attitude in a detail-focused, deadline-driven environment.
• Handle multiple project assignments simultaneously, setting priorities and managing time effectively.
• Apply established corporate branding to proposals and presentations.
• Ensure cohesive messaging and visual representation of key win themes in designs.
• Problem-solve and contribute to moderate to complex visual solutions.
• Identify areas in proposals where graphics can replace text to enhance storytelling.
• Occasionally travel to support sales efforts in other offices.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 6 years of relevant graphic design experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills, particularly in the Architectural/Engineering & Construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Word).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Architectural/Engineering & Construction sectors and/or in Proposal and Sales.
• Familiarity with additional creative, visual, interactive, and multimedia tools.
• Prior experience with illustration, map creation, isometrics, and cross sections.
