About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for generating innovative ideas and creating compelling visual stories through various multimedia formats. This role involves collaboration with different teams to design solutions for diverse projects, including breaking news and planned coverage, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Generate new ideas and create visual stories with graphics, multimedia, interactives, and newsroom apps.
• Collaborate with reporters, editors, visual journalists, product teams, and developers to design solutions for projects including breaking news and planned coverage.
• Update and maintain a consistent creative look on marketing materials.
• Design, animate, shoot, and edit social graphics.

Requirements

• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and its libraries.
• Fluency in Adobe CS, Sketch, or other graphics tools.
• Experience working with graphics, video, audio, and photography.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced software such as 3D Studio MAX and Solidworks.
