At HNTB, we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer. This position is crucial for the creation of templates and all required graphics for complex and/or mega proposals, interviews, and in-house materials across the Mid-Atlantic Division states, including Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, the Carolinas, and Washington, DC. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and laying out various materials, including printed brochures, flyers, boards, and multi-media designs. The goal is to create an impactful image, effectively communicate concepts, and deliver messages that resonate with our audience. This role may also involve overseeing the work of less experienced staff members, providing mentorship and guidance as needed. The Graphic Designer will create print and digital materials for proposals, presentations, and internal communications. This includes developing templates, charts, maps, infographics, and layouts for various formats. The designer will follow and implement the visual identity direction provided by leadership on key projects and pursuits. Additionally, the role may require working on complex projects that necessitate specialized design or industry knowledge, leading the creative direction for print and digital materials. The designer will utilize storytelling techniques to champion creative vision on key projects and will be responsible for maintaining and organizing digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics. Coordination with print vendors and photographers will also be part of the responsibilities, along with final graphics review and approval. In this position, the designer will mentor lower-level designers, regularly sharing and discussing work with creative staff, and may assist in conducting training for marketing staff. The role is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to performing other duties as assigned, ensuring that all materials produced align with the high standards of HNTB.
