About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer at Boston Scientific plays a crucial role in creating and executing marketing materials that effectively communicate the brand and product information. This position requires collaboration with marketing communications specialists and creative vendors to deliver high-quality design solutions that align with the company's strategic goals. The designer will utilize advanced design software and production knowledge to produce both digital and print materials, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designs customer-facing marketing collateral to effectively communicate program and product information and brand Boston Scientific in the marketplace (e.g. brochures, posters, ads, banners, interactive deliverables, etc.).
• Interfaces with specialists to understand project objectives and translate them into creative deliverables.
• Partners and collaborates with creative vendors to meet deadlines and ensure quality.
• Uses sophisticated design software and knowledge of visual architecture to execute ideas and prepare files for both electronic and print usage.
• Must have print production knowledge in order to design, collaborate with the Print Buyer, and approve projects prior to printing.
• Must have digital production knowledge in order to design for multiple platforms, select appropriate file formats and do archival and retrieval.
• Aligns with design industry trends.

Requirements

• University degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred for some disciplines.
• 5-7 years experience in graphic design.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using FIGMA.
