About the position

As a Senior Graphic Designer at Vizient, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in our in-house agency, collaborating closely with marketing and communications managers to create tailored commercial marketing materials. Your primary focus will be on conveying complex industry information effectively to health care executives and senior leaders. This position requires a deep understanding of brand alignment and business objectives, ensuring that all materials produced not only meet aesthetic standards but also serve strategic purposes. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing and producing a variety of marketing and sales support materials, including infographics, brochures, and presentations. You will interpret and apply brand guidelines consistently across all projects, enhancing marketing collateral to address complex business needs and initiatives. Your ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling designs will be crucial in achieving specific project goals, such as translating sales or delivery objectives into creative assets. Managing multiple projects simultaneously will be a key aspect of your role, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You will actively listen to stakeholders, clarifying messages and expectations while identifying any unstated needs. Your expertise will also extend to reviewing corporate information and policies, ensuring that messaging is consistent and identifying areas for improvement. Ultimately, your work will involve preparing and delivering materials through various channels, ensuring that diverse audiences are reached with the appropriate level of detail. Your ability to balance several projects and tasks with minimal error will be essential in maintaining the high standards expected at Vizient, Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Work with commercial marketing and communication managers to develop and produce custom marketing / sales support material such as infographics, brochures, and presentations.
  • Interpret brand guidelines for consistency and alignment.
  • Design and develop marketing collateral for complex business needs and initiatives.
  • Develop or interpret conceptual ideas through design to address specific project goals (e.g., translating sales or delivery objectives into creative assets).
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities at a time.
  • Interpret brand guidelines, understands brand strategy and enhances marketing materials as appropriate.
  • Listen attentively, clarifying messages and expectations, and asking thoughtful questions to determine any unstated needs.
  • Develop and review corporate information and policies, ensuring messages are consistent and providing areas for improvement.
  • Identify needs and structures deliverables according to plans, audiences, and strategies; ensures 'usability' of tools and materials.
  • Prepare and delivers materials via differing vehicles (e.g., brochures, presentations, etc.), ensuring various audiences are reached and providing the right level of detail.
  • Balance several projects and tasks simultaneously with minimal error and without losing track of important details or deliverables.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years relevant work experience required.
  • Strong communication and project management skills required.
  • Experience in studio, agency or high-volume production, deadline driven environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft PowerPoint preferred.
  • Diverse experience working with project types, including events, publication/newsletter and infographics design preferred.
