About the position

The Senior Graphic Designer at AECOM will play a crucial role in the Design and Consulting Services Marketing Group, focusing on the Transportation proposal team. This position involves leading graphic design solutions for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, ensuring cohesive messaging and visual identity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment and will be responsible for managing multiple projects while applying corporate branding effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic graphic design solutions to support the production of winning proposals, sales materials, and presentations.
• Maintain a collaborative and engaging attitude in a detail-focused, highly deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Handle multiple project assignments simultaneously, set priorities, manage time, and organize work according to best practices.
• Apply established corporate branding to proposals and presentations.
• Ensure cohesive messaging and visual identity in designs, representing key win themes visually.
• Problem-solve and contribute to moderate to complex visual solutions.
• Identify areas in proposals where graphics can replace text to better tell a story.
• Occasionally travel to support sales efforts in other offices.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 6 years of relevant graphic design experience or equivalent experience/education.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills and expertise with a strong portfolio, preferably in the Architectural/Engineering & Construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Word).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Architectural/Engineering & Construction sectors and/or in Proposal and Sales.
• Experience with additional creative, visual, interactive, and multimedia tools.
• Prior experience with illustration, map creation, isometrics, and cross sections.
