About the position

As a Senior Graphic Designer at OUTFRONT, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the advertising landscape in the Washington DC market. This position is designed for a confident and passionate individual who possesses a deep understanding of design and advertising principles. You will be responsible for influencing positive change in our clients' businesses by creating engaging out-of-home (OOH) content that aligns with their brand goals. Your creative freedom will be encouraged, and you will be expected to pour your heart into every project, ensuring that the best possible creative solutions are delivered. In this role, you will partner closely with our Sales team to understand client objectives and translate them into compelling designs. You will manage project intake across various industries, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and create both print and digital-ready designs for local to national clients. Your ability to present your work clearly to clients and internal teams will be crucial, as will your coordination with outside agencies and vendors to maintain creative integrity throughout the market. Additionally, you will utilize and expand your knowledge of advertising design to contribute to impactful campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skill, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to take the lead on projects when necessary and ensure that all designs reflect a strong understanding of visual details and design principles, including motion design. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our clients and the overall effectiveness of our advertising strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our Sales team to create engaging OOH content for our clients to determine best solutions for their brand goals
  • Manage project intake for clients across a variety of industries
  • Prioritize project intake as needed to ensure deadlines are met
  • Create print and digital-ready designs to fulfill local to national client projects
  • Take lead on projects when required
  • Ability to present work to clients and internal teams providing clear design theory
  • Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, and vendors as necessary
  • Help maintain creative integrity throughout the market
  • Utilize and expand your knowledge of advertising design to contribute to campaigns

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Understanding of visual details, design principles, and motion design
  • Ability to illustrate concepts by designing example art arrangements for submittals
  • Experience working within both digital and print
  • Strong knowledge of advertising design
  • Ability to independently manage time and work within a fast-paced environment
