About the position

The NVIDIA GPU Architecture group is seeking innovative architects and software developers to lead various architecture efforts aimed at enhancing GPU performance and efficiency. This role involves developing new programming models, architectures, and infrastructure to maintain NVIDIA's leadership in graphics and parallel computing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve features in the GPU architecture to advance graphics performance and efficiency.
  • Design and build new hardware features for future graphics architectures.
  • Invent and develop software for hardware simulators and testing infrastructures.
  • Document, design, and develop tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify functional or performance models.
  • Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new graphics architectures.

Requirements

  • MS Degree in a relevant discipline (CS, EE, Math) or equivalent experience; PhD is a plus.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in computer architecture and graphics.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Perl, and Python.
  • Background in computer architecture, graphics algorithms, parallel processing, signal processing, ray tracing, and/or high-performance computing.
