About The Position
The Senior Group Risk Specialist provides a comprehensive and diverse range of risk management expertise to business leaders. Leads and supports the implementation of appropriate risk frameworks and leading related management activities to mitigate enterprise and/or business-wide risk exposures for key business segment of the Bank or functional area. May provide oversight, commentary, and recommendations based on overall strategy and industry best practices. This is a Senior Manager role (L11) supporting the portfolio of US Technology for Operational Risk Management (ORM). The mandate of this role is to execute on the ORM Framework, providing risk-based oversight and challenge of the design & operating effectiveness of controls. This particular role will be initially focused on the Eagle initiative, one of AMCB's top priorities and forward-sustainability opportunities. Will be engaged in challenge and oversight of high-focus remediation efforts for Regulatory concerns. Works closely with Enterprise/TDBG ORM counterparts in the holistic coverage of Technology including Enterprise and US program planning and US execution of the ORM Framework. Partners with US Enterprise Protect Business Information Security Officer team as the primary risk and control partner. Compiles reports on overall US Technology trends, risks, and issues on aggregated basis and recommends management action to minimize risk exposures. Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of Company and US Technology and strategic project goals in order to deliver the most effective solutions to Customers, aligned with TD Bank's Operational Risk appetite.
