About the position

Spot & Tango is an innovative pet health & wellness brand that delivers personalized meal plans on a subscription basis. Our recipes are developed by leading animal nutritionists, and are made with only real, human-grade ingredients... and nothing artificial! We have lofty goals (to make every dog in the country healthier, and every pet parent happier!) and we are looking for the right people to help us get there. This is an exciting opportunity to join a VC-backed, high-growth, e-commerce startup and have an outsized impact in an extremely fast-paced environment. Plus, you get to think about dogs all day!

Responsibilities

  • Lead Spot & Tango's Paid Social and program, managing the annual budget on Meta (opportunity to take on TikTok) and other marketing channels.
  • Develop and drive an ambitious cross-platform roadmap to maximize customer acquisitions & LTV and optimize acquisition cost (CAC, CPA).
  • Design and implement a short and long-term creative strategy roadmap, which includes industry research, briefing ad concepts, providing feedback to the design team, and reporting on test results.
  • Design and A/B test new optimization strategies, audience segmentation, creative, landing experiences, and other program initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day performance of Spot & Tango's Paid Social program, building processes, tools, and reports to effectively & efficiently manage and accelerate growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Product, Attribution, Data Science) to understand Paid Social's role in the broader marketing mix and advocate for the best Paid Social customer journey.
  • Build strategic partnerships with external advertising vendors (e.g. Meta, TikTok, etc.) to test new growth products and advertising tools.
  • Serve as an expert on overall channel performance and strategy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in digital marketing (preferably with Facebook advertising experience), with a heavy analytical emphasis and drive to master paid social performance marketing.
  • A domain ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills with proven ability to leverage data to identify trends, spot performance opportunities, and tell data-driven stories.
  • Precision and attention to detail (zero-defect analysis, quick spotting of unexpected performance/bugs, ability to troubleshoot marketing tracking systems, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal.
  • An interest in launching and testing new advertising channels.
  • Knowledge of experimentation and creative optimization.
