About the position

The Senior Growth Marketing Manager of Paid Social at CookUnity will lead the company's paid social channel growth strategy, focusing on scaling customer acquisition across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Snap, while also exploring emerging channels like Twitch and X. This role is pivotal in accelerating user acquisition by leveraging a mix of creative, technology, measurement, and product strategies to enhance subscriptions while maintaining efficient Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC). The ideal candidate will develop and implement data-driven performance marketing plans, collaborating with a cross-functional team of growth specialists across various media channels, including digital and offline growth, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and audience management. In this position, the Senior Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for the overall paid social media strategy, ensuring that performance objectives are met. The candidate will bring expert knowledge of the social landscape, applying insights based on data and consumer behavior to scale the paid social channel effectively. They will also keep executive leadership informed about emerging trends and technologies in the marketing space. This role requires a product-oriented mindset and a strong media background to drive the product roadmap in collaboration with key partners and internal stakeholders across Brand, Technology, Data, and Product teams. Reporting to the Director of Performance, the Senior Growth Marketing Manager will oversee campaigns across paid social channels, utilizing data and testing to optimize performance. The role involves close collaboration with the CRM, Performance Creative, Branding, and cross-functional teams, including Product, Tech, and Design, to support channel growth. Responsibilities

  • Lead the paid social channel growth strategy to scale customer acquisition across various platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign management in Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, and emerging digital marketing channels.
  • Own key performance marketing campaigns and execution of the paid social budget.
  • Monitor performance metrics and campaign budget tracking, ensuring actionable insights are shared and coordinated into the team's workflow.
  • Analyze performance data to understand the reasons behind performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal performance creative and content teams to develop and launch customer-centric creative tests across various formats.
  • Keep executive leadership informed on emerging trends and technologies in the marketing landscape.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, with a focus on paid social within high-growth DTC companies.
  • A Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing or highly commercial role.
  • Excellent leadership skills to attract and develop outstanding marketing talent and challenge team members to excel.
  • Collaborative attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Google Analytics, or Looker.
  • A creative-minded individual with a strong interest in developing a cohesive brand presence across marketing touchpoints.
  • Outstanding understanding of marketing or tech-related subjects (e.g., AdTech, Data Science, Engineering, economics, marketing, business).
  • Ability to generate solutions from both qualitative and quantitative marketing challenges.
  • Experience in managing large marketing budgets.
