About the position

As the Senior Growth Marketing Manager, Paid Media at Navient, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through paid search, while also having visibility into social, display, and video campaigns. This position is crucial for balancing company efficiency metrics and will involve leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of our Search Engine Marketing (SEM) efforts across multiple platforms. You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Growth (New Channels) to expertly funnel consumers through the marketing journey, ensuring that our campaigns are effective and aligned with our growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include conducting keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks. You will collaborate closely with analytics, product, and brand creative teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution and performance measurement. Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on campaign performance will be essential, as you will provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to enhance our marketing strategies. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive SEM strategy that aligns with our growth objectives and efficiency targets. You will manage, optimize, and scale SEM campaigns across platforms such as Google, Bing, and others to maximize return on investment (ROI) and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, as you will need to articulate complex strategies and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a high degree of autonomy is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through paid search.
  • Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of SEM efforts across multiple platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with analytics, product, and brand creative teams for cohesive campaign execution.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage, optimize, and scale SEM campaigns across Google, Bing, and other platforms to maximize ROI.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Marketing, social and display.
  • Proven track record of driving successful campaigns tied to ROAS.
  • Expert knowledge of SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other Search platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills using Google Sheets and/or Excel; SQL query experience is a bonus.
  • Experience in managing large-scale SEM campaigns with a focus on growth and efficiency.
  • Proficient in budget management, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in Consumer Lending and/or in the financial technology (FinTech) industry.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing and paid media within the FinTech sector.
