About the position

The Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Moog will lead the design, analysis, development, and testing of complex avionics systems for military, commercial, and NASA satellites. This role involves collaborating with a design/development team to create tailored hardware solutions based on customer specifications, ensuring high-quality performance in aerospace applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex avionics systems.
• Coordinate the work of designers, technicians, and procurement specialists on specific assignments.
• Consult with customers to establish product functional specifications and conceive potential hardware solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of the conceptual design, technical project planning, detail design, and development testing.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in hardware design.
• Knowledge of closed loop control systems and electrical hardware design.
• Strong communication skills.
