As a Senior Hardware Design Validation & Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Infotainment Test & Validation team, ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will be responsible for developing test plans, executing component-level tests, and automating test software to validate our innovative hardware designs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hardware design engineers to create and execute comprehensive hardware verification test plans that encompass environmental, electrical, and mechanical testing. You will also work alongside the software development team to define and implement validation software and test automation processes. Your hands-on programming skills in Python, C/C++, and LabVIEW will be essential as you design, build, and program test systems for hardware testing. Additionally, you will analyze test results and data to ensure that our designs meet functional and performance specifications, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to upload test setups, plans, and results into Confluence and JIRA, creating detailed test sequences to verify the performance and limitations of electronic control units (ECUs). Your ability to collaborate with the design team to resolve issues and develop corrective actions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to quality and innovation.
