Recently, we have integrated powered card technology into fully interactive, client-facing websites and back-end processing systems. Dynamics is currently seeking an enthusiastic and engaged Senior Hardware Engineer that will be directly engaged and responsible for contributing to the development of future payments and card technology from design through production phases. As a key member of our engineering team at Dynamics, you will provide critical support in the drive for improved quality and cost reductions. You will also be part of a team that creates the next generation of powered cards. You will work closely with every functional area of the company including research and development, production, marketing and sales, quality assurance, and information technology.

Responsibilities

  • Performing schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping bring-up and debugging, test plan creation and functional verification.
  • Designing and troubleshooting microcontrollers and embedded mixed-signal systems at the component level.
  • Working proficiently with oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, soldering irons and other off-the-shelf equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus).
  • Demonstrated work experience with complex mixed signal circuits at the component level and embedded systems basic programming capability.
  • Digital and analog design experience along with component selection and prototyping experience.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical issues and justify technical decisions.
