About the position

The Senior Hardware Engineer at BAE Systems is responsible for developing and supporting advanced electronic systems products and solutions. This role involves collaboration across multiple disciplines to solve complex hardware design and testing challenges, contributing to significant projects that enhance national security. Responsibilities

• Solving challenging problems in hardware design and test
• Collaborating with Engineers across various disciplines (EE, RF, ME, Systems, Operations, and Quality) to support existing designs
• Evaluating performance using modern simulation tools and test equipment
• Supporting system integration and qualification activities
• Supporting transition of new products into production
• Generating and implementing improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput
• Providing training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required
• Mentoring peers and more junior engineers in areas of expertise

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with High School diploma
• 6+ years of experience with Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience with Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience with Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0+ years of experience with PhD

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RF engineering
