The selected candidate will apply their skills in design in order to develop and support our "Design it Right" initiative for a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format. The duties assigned to this senior engineering position will include the following: The Senior Hardware Test Engineer will participate on a team of Hardware Design engineers to design, develop, and deploy Test Solutions, to include Test Stations and Integrated Test Adapters (ITAs). The Test Solution designs cover a wide range of technologies, equipment, and approaches and will offer interesting, challenging, and rewarding career opportunities. Hardware Test Engineering positions provide development in a broad range of technical domains. The individual will participate in up-front program engagement activities, including strategy and planning, Design For Testability (DFT), test hardware design, integration, debug, verification, validation, sell-off, and support. The position also includes collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives with peers, as well as Operations counterparts, to establish and refine test development practices and approaches for the department. Examples include common architectures, design for reuse, DFT, standard tools, & standard approaches. It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.
