About the position

The position involves overseeing multiple healthcare agencies within a designated region, focusing on leadership, mentoring, and ensuring both profitability and quality patient care. The RN will be responsible for managing financial performance, operational issues, and staff development while collaborating with executive leadership to drive growth and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and facilitate QAPI planning and processes, reporting, and improvement action plans in assigned agencies.
  • Oversee occurrences, complaints, negative trends, performance improvement issues, patient/family satisfaction scores, and concerns.
  • Manage the financial performance of assigned agencies, including performance to budget, review of weekly metrics, billing reports, staff productivity, week-over-week growth, and billable hours per day.
  • Report operational, financial, risk management, compliance, staffing, business development, and patient care issues to direct supervisors.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing business development opportunities in assigned agencies, inclusive of agency participation in community awareness, education, and service-oriented projects.
  • Collaborate with Executive Directors to drive a vision of appropriate growth, focusing on the needs and expectations of referral communities and patients.
  • Review and approve personnel decisions, including terminations, suspensions, new hires, and grievances, with Human Resources guidance.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and education of assigned agencies, with quality patient scores meeting company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Current licensure to practice in the state of employment or a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree, meeting state regulations. RN required.
  • 5 years' experience in direct financial and employee management of a healthcare facility or multi-site healthcare facilities.
  • P&L and budget process experience.
  • Proven financial management ability and census growth achievement.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies for agency improvement.
  • Understanding and guidance of staff on operational metrics impacting financial performance.
  • Multi-tasking and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or MHA preferred.
