The Senior Health Data Analyst will play a crucial role in the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department at UCI Health, which is the clinical enterprise of the University of California, Irvine. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions utilizing electronic health data. The analyst will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers and work closely with other institutions across the University of California Health system. The role requires proficiency in UCI Health software tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, and the enterprise data warehouse to deliver high-quality reports and analytic solutions. These solutions will encompass quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and general clinical and operational reporting, ensuring that the health system meets its reporting obligations and enhances its operational efficiency. The incumbent will be expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System, demonstrating strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. The role demands a proactive approach to performance tuning to optimize queries and meet user needs, as well as the ability to manage a workload effectively. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of data analytics experience, particularly with relational databases, and will be well-versed in SQL and reporting tools such as SSRS and Tableau.
