The Senior Health Data Analyst plays a crucial role in providing information, analyses, and consultation to both internal and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for assessing the performance of pharmacy benefits and networks, developing recommendations for improvements, and enhancing support for departmental and organizational objectives. The analyst will create new reports, analytical models, and products or benefit programs that align with Prime's strategic imperatives. Additionally, this role involves leading high-complexity analysis and special projects as required, ensuring that the organization meets its goals effectively. In this position, the Senior Health Data Analyst acts as a champion of the consulting and analytic methodology for a designated line of business. They may provide work direction, serve as a mentor, or train junior-level analysts. The analyst will develop analytic methodologies, models, reports, and new products while leading complex client analytical work efforts. They will serve as an internal subject matter expert, leveraging a deep understanding of client or organizational drivers and maintaining final accountability for client analytics and ad hoc reporting. The role also requires proactive investigation and the building of recommendations for enhancements or resolutions regarding key drivers of benefit performance, trends, and obstacles. This is essential to improve overall benefit and network performance while providing effective consultation to internal and external stakeholders.
