About the position

The Senior Health Informatics Data Analyst role at SpectraMedix focuses on providing actionable insights to healthcare clients through data analysis and dashboard creation. The position requires proficiency in SQL and Tableau, with responsibilities including conducting data analysis on healthcare datasets, managing Tableau servers, and presenting findings to stakeholders. This role is essential for supporting value-based care initiatives and improving healthcare quality measures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis on various disparate healthcare datasets using SQL and Python.
• Aid in analysis/solution design, development, and delivery to healthcare clients.
• Create interactive dashboards using Tableau and manage the Tableau server.
• Manage and maintain various healthcare taxonomy related code sets under MDM practice.
• Understand different HIPAA measures (ECQM / HEDIS / HCPCS/DSRIP / MIPS etc).
• Present analysis, findings, and insights in relevant internal and external forums.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL is a must.
• Proficiency in developing dashboards using Tableau is a must.
• Exposure to US healthcare and familiarity with data assets in the healthcare space.
• Bachelor's degree in any science-related discipline.
• 6 years of experience within the healthcare data analytics industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure/proficiency in Python is an advantage.
• Exposure in managing Tableau server is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a team player.
