About the position
RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit hospital and community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an opening for a full-time Senior Accountant. This is a new position with defined responsibilities to provide support to the Director of Accounting, with a heavy focus on grant management to begin with. Ridgeview provides a wide range of outpatient programs and services throughout a six-county geographic region, including Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, Roane, Scott, and Fentress counties. In addition, Ridgeview operates a 16 bed Joint Commission accredited adult inpatient unit located at our main center in Oak Ridge. Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure the integrity of the accounting books and records.
- Prepare various financial reports for the board, management, program leadership, and outside parties such as federal, state, and other stakeholders.
- Understand and manage numerous grants with varying requirements in concert with other Accounting team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with an Accounting concentration required.
- Master's degree or CPA preferred.
- Two or more years' experience is required, preferably in a hospital or nonprofit environment.
