About the position
The Help Desk Specialist Lead will provide technical support for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role involves installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems for executive users, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. The position requires a proactive approach to managing IT assets and providing end-user support, while also gathering feedback to improve service quality.
Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting for all Executive users of the DTRA systems
- Maintain a web-based capability for DTRA users to enter, track and escalate Service Desk tickets
- Remote access configuration and support for DTRA Executive users and external customers
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer peripherals
- Provide tracking for all deployed IT assets from procurement to disposal
- Provide end-user software and application support
- Provide technical assistance and customer support in the operations and maintenance of wireless voice and data services
- Gather feedback from service desk customers regarding their satisfaction with the service provided
Requirements
- Minimum of a Secret security clearance; TS/SCI preferred
- Active IAT II certification
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- A Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Office 365 and Microsoft products
- Must be a US Citizen
