About the position
The Senior Home Lending Advisor at Chase Home Lending serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the loan process, leveraging extensive knowledge of home lending products. This role involves coaching and mentoring branch teams, collaborating with bankers, and creating exceptional customer experiences while adhering to regulatory requirements. The advisor will play a crucial role in promoting mortgage loan originations and building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Works together with bankers, meets with their customers, and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
- Collaborates with the team to create an outstanding customer experience through various marketing efforts.
- Develops strong partnerships with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations.
- Builds role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintains good relationships with customers.
- Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3 years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Nice-to-haves
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
