About the position

The Senior HR Data Analyst at Citrix Systems will play a crucial role in the HR Technology & HR Workforce Insights team, focusing on data analysis and reporting to support HR initiatives. This position involves forming strategic partnerships with HR leaders, managing data reporting needs, and utilizing Workday tools to provide insights that drive decision-making across the organization. The analyst will be responsible for automating processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and ensuring data quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the quick adoption of Workday Prism, Dashboard and Worksheets by creating or supporting the creation of Workday dashboards for HRBI analytics
  • Perform heavy data analysis and research, manipulating, analyzing, and trending results
  • Support the creation of new methods for communicating human capital analysis and reporting
  • Drive the development, implementation, maintenance, and expansion of team data marts and tables
  • Own the development and implementation of automation standards to increase productivity
  • Perform business analyst tasks by documenting and communicating business processes and data requirements
  • Drive efficiencies in the team's workload using MS SQL Server tools and Prism
  • Manage key data validations and resolve data issues
  • Maintain alignment with role definitions regarding HRBI data visibility
  • Collaborate on future data structures and deployment processes
  • Participate in systems and reporting enhancements, including project planning and testing
  • Identify valuable datasets from internal and external sources and present them meaningfully
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed
  • Document data findings and present observations with recommendations to management

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of systems experience in a mid-size or large global company
  • 5-7 years working knowledge of databases and front-end reporting tools including Workday Prism
  • Technical proficiency in Workday Visualization Tools: Worksheets, Discovery Reports, Prism
  • Proficiency in SQL Data Modeling and Query building is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer focus and project management skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into reports and visualizations
  • Understanding of data management and recommendations for data quality
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday Studio and integrations
  • High level of proficiency in building meaningful presentations for executive clients
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under aggressive time constraints
