The Senior HR Generalist at Schnellecke Logistics plays a crucial role in managing various human resources functions to ensure compliance with employment laws and the effective implementation of company policies. The Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for maintaining a safe and fair work environment, aligning with Schnellecke's core values and principles. This role also involves acting as a liaison between local HR, corporate HR, and management teams, ensuring that all HR processes are executed efficiently and effectively. In this position, the Senior HR Generalist will conduct new hire onboarding orientations, assist in leadership and development training, and provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries. The role requires running daily system reports to monitor shift attendance, managing data within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and maintaining employee disciplinary records. The Senior HR Generalist will also be tasked with creating various documents, spreadsheets, and reports to support HR functions and ensure accurate record-keeping. Overall, the Senior HR Generalist is expected to foster a positive work environment by developing employees in line with Schnellecke's mission and values, while also providing assistance to all departments to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and fair treatment of all employees
  • Develop employees under Schnellecke's spirit and principles
  • Provide assistance to all departments
  • Execute organizational values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards
  • Provide counseling to employees
  • Carry out HR responsibilities in various functional areas
  • Coach and counsel team members and leaders
  • Run daily system reports for shift attendance
  • Manage data in the Human Resource Information System
  • Process department termination and transfer paperwork
  • Maintain and track employee disciplinary actions
  • Update employee personnel information
  • Operate as the link between Local HR, Corporate HR, and Management and Operations teams
  • Conduct New Hire Onboarding Orientation
  • Assist in Leadership and Development Training
  • Create documents, spreadsheets, and reports
  • Assist employees with questions regarding payroll or benefits packages

Requirements
