About the position

The Senior HR Operations Manager at Alarm.com will enhance HR programs and processes, creating a positive employee experience while partnering with Business Leaders and the HR team. This role requires a well-organized individual with attention to detail, energy, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director, HR Operations with developing and executing the HR Operations strategy.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Alarm.com HR processes, policies, and practices.
  • Analyze HR processes for efficiency, quality, and data-driven decision making.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and company leaders to improve HR processes and automation.
  • Support corporate activities such as M&A and the implementation of new business units.
  • Maintain and develop the Company Handbook, HR policies, and processes for compliance.
  • Manage immigration and I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
  • Oversee the HR Information System and other HR tools for effective utilization.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance in personnel files and core HR systems.
  • Review, process, and approve Workday and employment actions.
  • Provide training to end users on HR systems and tools.
  • Lead and develop the HR Operations Associates team.
  • Assist with cyclical HR processes such as compensation and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in HR or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of Human Resources experience in an operations role or HR related position with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Thorough understanding of compliance for employment practices and HR practices.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, change management, and organizational development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Passionate about accuracy, consistent processes, and effective maintenance of people data.
  • Ability to motivate the team and provide guidance on a day-to-day basis.
  • Experience communicating across all corporate levels, including with top executives.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and other HR tools and systems.
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
