About the position

The Senior Enterprise Solutions Oracle Developer will design, implement, and update applications that enhance business operations. This role involves creating custom features, deploying new tools, and troubleshooting technical issues while ensuring operational efficiency and providing solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Understand, articulate, and implement best practices for supported applications.
• Consult across business operations; provide mentorship and ensure best practices are followed.
• Ensure solutions are operational 24x7 to meet operational service level agreements.
• Provide, plan, and perform research and design assessments in an assigned technical area.
• Define and analyze problems, gather information, and provide associated solutions to resolve problems.
• Code and develop applications according to specifications defined by business and analysts.
• Write technical and end-user documentation and instructions for ongoing support.
• Manage code changes using version control.
• Communicate work item statuses to project managers and stakeholders.
• Incorporate best practices including SOA, enterprise service bus, security, and performance.
• Review and extend the design of web application security throughout the solution.
• Collaborate with business analysts to provide workload estimates for development projects.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and Project.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripted languages.
• Advanced knowledge of source control and branching strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and team members.
• Advanced analytical and organizational skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with others.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment qualifications.
