About the position

The Senior HR Oracle Cloud Integration Developer at Cherokee Federal is responsible for designing, implementing, and updating applications that enhance business operations. This role involves creating custom features, deploying new tools, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining databases to provide tailored solutions for users. The developer will ensure operational efficiency and compliance with best practices while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Understands, articulates, and implements best practices for supported application(s).
  • Consults across business operations; provides mentorship and ensures best practices are followed.
  • Ensures solutions are operational 24x7 to meet operational service level agreement.
  • Provides, plans and performs research and design assessments in an assigned technical area.
  • Defines and analyzes problems, gathers information, and provides associated solutions to resolve problems.
  • Codes and develops applications according to specifications defined by business and analysts.
  • Writes technical and end-user documentation and instructions for ongoing support.
  • Manages code changes using version control.
  • Communicates work item statuses to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Incorporates best practices including but not limited to: SOA, enterprise service bus, security, and performance.
  • Reviews and extends the design of web application security throughout the solution.
  • Collaborates with business analysts to provide workload estimates for development projects.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and Project.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripted languages.
  • Advanced knowledge of source control and branching strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and team members.
  • Advanced analytical and organizational skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
