About the position

The Senior HR Project Coordinator/Operations Specialist is a key member of the People Services team, responsible for coordinating HR projects, managing timelines, and ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables. This role serves as a primary contact for HR inquiries and plays a crucial role in optimizing HR operations within the organization, particularly as the Jax Alachua location opens.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate HR projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any project risks or issues.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on generating ad-hoc dashboard metrics, utilizing Power BI.
  • Serve as point of contact for HR inquiries and collaborate closely with HRBP Team and centers of excellence to provide timely and accurate responses.
  • Coordinate and execute HR-sponsored events (e.g. HR Road Shows, Employee Events) and facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to support employee relations activities, such as resolving workplace issues or facilitating exit interviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of project coordinator experience required.
  • 5+ years' experience working effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with dashboard creation tools, Power BI preferred.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to exercise initiative, comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexible and adaptable in dealing with changing priorities and tasks.
  • Workday experience is a plus.
