About the position

The Senior HRIS Analyst - Reporting & Analytics at Amentum plays a crucial role in the Human Resources Information Systems function, focusing on the development and maintenance of complex reports and visualizations using Workday and other analytical tools. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of reporting, system configuration, and compliance with data privacy regulations, while collaborating with various departments to meet reporting and analytics needs.

Responsibilities

  • Leads in the design, building, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of reports and visualizations using Workday and other tools.
  • Administers the Workday system, including reporting development, system configuration, and maintaining security.
  • Establishes quality assurance of delivered insights and designs testing techniques for accurate results.
  • Maintains the reporting inventory for consistent naming, descriptions, and permissions.
  • Performs data audits and validation, following up with teams for corrections.
  • Conducts requirements reviews with HRIS leads to develop or modify processes and reporting.
  • Consults with departments to define reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Contributes to the development of HRIS policies and maintains compliance with data privacy measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years directly related Workday HRIS experience in functional configuration, security, and reporting.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Workday Report Writer, Complex Reports, and Discovery Boards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills for translating user needs and improving system efficiency.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of employees, including executives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday People Analytics and Workday Reporting Pro Certification.
  • Prior use of business intelligence tools like Power BI.
  • Experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint or comparable systems.
  • Government contracting experience.
