About the position

The Senior HRIS Analyst - Reporting & Analytics at Amentum is responsible for the development and maintenance of complex reports and visualizations within the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) function. This role focuses on utilizing Workday and other tools to create advanced reporting solutions that support HR operations and decision-making. The analyst will lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with HR policies.

Responsibilities

  • Leads in the design, building, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of reports and visualizations using Workday and other tools.
  • Administers the Workday system, including reporting development, system configuration, and maintaining security.
  • Establishes quality assurance of delivered insights and designs testing techniques for accurate results.
  • Maintains the reporting inventory for consistent naming, descriptions, and permissions.
  • Performs data audits and validation, coordinating with teams for necessary corrections.
  • Conducts requirements reviews with HRIS leads to develop or modify processes and reporting.
  • Consults with various departments to define reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Contributes to the development of HRIS policies and ensures compliance with data privacy measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of directly related Workday HRIS experience in functional configuration, security, and reporting.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Workday Report Writer, Complex Reports, Composite Reports, and Discovery Boards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills for translating user needs into software changes and process efficiencies.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of employees, including executives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday People Analytics and Workday Reporting Pro Certification.
  • Prior use of business intelligence tools like Power BI.
  • Experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint or comparable systems.
  • Government contracting experience.
